Jonathan M. Hudson is a Second-Generation Principal with The Hudson Companies. He joined the Hudson Companies after graduating from Duquesne University’s Palumbo Donahue School of Business in 2016 with a degree in Finance. Jonathan is responsible for sourcing, analyzing, and executing new commercial and multifamily real estate development opportunities and acquisitions.
Jonathan works closely with and leads the development team at The Hudson Companies, where he oversees all aspects of the development cycle, including market identification, site selection, site acquisition, permitting and approvals, design and engineering, underwriting, financing, construction, operations, and asset management. He has successfully executed the development of multifamily apartment communities, commercial offices, and government-leased assets. Jonathan has a deep understanding of the land entitlement and approval process. He has worked with large and small local governments, community groups, and local and state-level government officials.
Jonathan is active in all aspects of growing the portfolio through acquisitions and real estate investments, including deal sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, legal, financing, asset repositioning, strategy, and asset management and operations. Jonathan is also responsible for originating and maintaining limited partner-investor relationships and structuring equity relationships.
